Privacy Policy

Muslim Ai is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your prayers, Quran reading progress, adhkar activity, tasbih counts, habits, goals, streaks, and other personal progress are designed to remain on your device.

This Privacy Policy explains how Muslim AI handles information when you use the app.

1. Information Stored on Your Device

Most information generated through Muslim Ai is stored locally on your device.

This may include:

• Prayer and worship tracking

• Prayer goals and completion status

• Adhkar activity

• Tasbih counts and daily targets

• Quran reading progress and daily goals

• Habit selections and progress

• Streaks and reports

• Bookmarks and preferences

• Excused-day settings

• App settings and notification preferences

We do not operate a user account system for this information, and this data is not uploaded to our servers.

Deleting the app may permanently remove locally stored information unless it is preserved through an Apple-provided device backup or system feature.

2. Location

MuslimDailyAzkar may request access to your location to provide features such as:

• Accurate prayer times

• Qibla direction

• Nearby mosques

• Location-based prayer calculation settings

• Travel-related features

Prayer-time and Qibla calculations can be performed using location information on your device.

The nearby-mosques feature may use Apple MapKit and related Apple services to search for mosques and provide directions. When these services are used, information may be processed by Apple according to Apple's privacy practices.

You may deny location access and use supported manual location options where available.

3. Notifications

The app may request permission to send notifications for prayer times, Athan, adhkar, reminders, and other features you enable.

Notification preferences and tracking associated with these features are primarily managed locally on your device.

You can change notification permissions at any time through iOS Settings.

4. AI Coach

Muslim Ai includes an optional AI-powered coach.

When you use this feature, and only after you choose Allow in the app, the coach sends the information it needs to write a reply to Groq, an AI service run by another company: the messages you write to the coach, and counts of your prayers and habits from the last 14 days with the names of those habits. It does not send your name, your location or any account. Nothing is sent to Groq until you allow it, and you can withdraw this at any time in Settings, under The coach.

The app is designed to minimize the information sent to the AI service. Where applicable, the coach sends limited numerical or contextual information rather than your complete locally stored activity history.

Your locally stored prayer, Quran, adhkar, and habit database is not automatically uploaded to the AI provider.

Information sent to Groq is processed by Groq to write the coach's reply, according to Groq's applicable terms and privacy policy.

You should not submit sensitive personal information through AI features.

5. Advertising

Muslim Ai may display advertisements using Google AdMob.

Google and its advertising technologies may automatically process certain information necessary to provide, secure, measure, or personalize advertising, depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and the configuration of the app.

This may include information such as:

• Device information

• Advertising identifiers where permitted

• IP address

• General interaction information

• Advertising and diagnostic information

Where required by applicable law or Apple's policies, the app will request the appropriate consent or permission before using information for personalized advertising or tracking.

You can manage certain privacy and tracking permissions through your device settings.

6. Firebase and Remote Configuration

Muslim Ai may use Google Firebase services, including Remote Config, to remotely control certain app functionality, such as whether advertising features are enabled.

Firebase may process limited technical information necessary to provide these services.

We do not use Firebase as a cloud database for your prayer history, Quran progress, adhkar activity, habits, or other locally stored worship data.

7. Analytics and Tracking

Muslim Ai does not intentionally build a personal profile of your religious practices for advertising purposes.

Your prayer completion history, adhkar activity, Quran reading progress, tasbih counts, religious goals, and habit records are not intentionally provided to advertisers for targeted advertising.

Third-party services such as Google AdMob or Firebase may process technical, advertising, diagnostic, or interaction information according to their own policies and the permissions available on your device.

8. Religious and Personal Information

We recognize that information about worship and religious practices can be particularly personal.

Muslim Ai is therefore designed so that your detailed religious activity and progress remain primarily on your device rather than being stored in an account on our servers.

We do not sell your prayer history, Quran reading history, adhkar activity, tasbih activity, religious habits, or goals.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell your locally stored personal worship data.

Limited information may be processed by third-party services when necessary to provide specific features, including:

• Groq for optional AI functionality (the AI coach)

• Google AdMob for advertising

• Google Firebase for supported infrastructure and remote configuration

• Apple services such as MapKit for location, mosque search, and directions

Each third-party provider processes information according to its own applicable terms and privacy policies.

10. Data Retention

Information stored locally by Muslim Ai remains on your device until you delete it, reset relevant app data, or uninstall the app, subject to any backups or device-level services controlled by Apple.

For information processed by third-party providers, retention is governed by the applicable provider's policies and the configuration of the service.

11. Data Security

We design Muslim Ai to minimize unnecessary collection and transmission of personal information.

Keeping core worship and habit information on the device reduces the amount of personal data transmitted to external systems.

However, no electronic system or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Children's Privacy

Muslim Ai is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through an account or profile system.

Third-party services used by the app may have their own age requirements and privacy practices.

If we become aware that personal information from a child has been collected in a manner inconsistent with applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to address it.

13. Your Choices

Depending on the features you use, you can control:

• Location permission

• Notification permission

• Tracking permission where applicable

• Personalized advertising consent where applicable

• AI coach usage

• Habit and tracking features

• Manual location settings

Many core features can operate without creating an online account.

Permissions can also be reviewed or changed through iOS Settings.

14. Third-Party Services

The app may interact with services provided by:

• Apple

• Google AdMob

• Google Firebase

• Groq

These services have their own privacy policies and data-processing practices. We encourage you to review their policies if you use features that depend on them.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Muslim Ai changes, new features are introduced, third-party services change, or legal requirements require an update.

When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy will be revised.
