Muslim AI is designed with privacy at its core.

Your prayers, Quran reading progress, Adhkar activity, Tasbih counts, habits, goals, streaks, and personal progress are designed to remain on your device.

This Privacy Policy explains how Muslim AI handles information when you use the app.

1. Information Stored on Your Device

Most information you create or generate while using Muslim AI is stored locally on your device.

This may include:

• Prayer tracking and goals

• Prayer completion status

• Adhkar activity

• Tasbih counts and daily targets

• Quran reading progress

• Quran daily goals

• Selected habits and progress

• Streaks and reports

• Bookmarks

• Excused-day settings

• App preferences

• Notification settings

Muslim AI does not require you to create an account to use these features.

Your detailed religious activity and habit history are not stored on our servers.

If you delete Muslim AI, locally stored information may also be deleted unless it has been preserved through an Apple device backup or another system-level backup feature.

2. Location Information

Muslim AI may request access to your location to provide location-dependent features such as:

• Accurate prayer times

• Qibla direction

• Nearby mosques

• Prayer calculation settings

• Travel-related features

Prayer times and Qibla calculations can use your location directly on your device.

When you use the nearby mosques or directions features, Apple MapKit and related Apple services may process location and search information according to Apple's own privacy practices.

Where supported, you may choose a location manually instead of granting location access.

You can change location permissions at any time through iOS Settings.

3. Notifications and Athan

Muslim AI may request permission to send notifications for:

• Prayer times

• Athan

• Adhkar

• Fajr alarms

• Habit reminders

• Other reminders you choose to enable

Notification preferences and related scheduling are primarily handled on your device.

You can enable or disable notifications at any time through Muslim AI or iOS Settings.

4. Muslim AI Coach

Muslim AI includes an optional AI-powered coach designed to help you understand and improve your goals and habits.

When you choose to use the AI coach, and only after you choose Allow in the app, the coach sends the information it needs to write a reply to Groq, an AI service run by another company: the messages you write to the coach, and counts of your prayers and habits from the last 14 days with the names of those habits. It does not send your name, your location or any account. Nothing is sent to Groq until you allow it, and you can withdraw this at any time in Settings, under The coach.

Muslim AI is designed to minimize the amount of information shared with the AI service. Where applicable, the coach sends limited counts, numbers, or contextual information rather than your complete locally stored activity history.

Your full locally stored prayer, Quran, Adhkar, Tasbih, and habit databases are not automatically uploaded to the AI provider.

Information sent to Groq is processed by Groq to write the coach's reply, according to Groq's applicable terms and privacy policy.

We recommend that you do not enter sensitive personal information into AI-powered features.

5. Advertising

Muslim AI may display advertisements provided through Google AdMob.

Google and its advertising technologies may process certain information required to deliver, secure, measure, and, where permitted, personalize advertisements.

Depending on your location, consent choices, device configuration, and our advertising configuration, this information may include:

• Device information

• IP address

• Advertising identifiers where permitted

• Advertising interactions

• Diagnostic information

• General app interaction information

Where required, Muslim AI will request appropriate consent or system permission before enabling personalized advertising or tracking.

You can manage applicable privacy and tracking permissions through your device settings.

6. Firebase

Muslim AI may use Google Firebase services, including Firebase Remote Config, to manage certain app functionality remotely.

For example, Remote Config may be used to determine whether certain features, such as advertising, are enabled.

Firebase may process limited technical information necessary to provide these services.

Firebase is not used as a cloud database for your detailed prayer history, Quran progress, Adhkar activity, Tasbih counts, or religious habit history.

7. Religious Activity and Personal Progress

We recognize that information about worship and religious practices can be deeply personal.

Muslim AI is designed to keep your detailed religious activity primarily on your device.

Your prayer history, Quran reading history, Adhkar activity, Tasbih activity, religious goals, habit progress, and related personal records are not sold to advertisers.

We do not intentionally use your detailed religious activity to create advertising profiles.

8. Analytics and Tracking

Muslim AI does not intentionally create advertising profiles based on your religious practices.

Third-party services integrated into the app, such as Google AdMob or Firebase, may process limited technical, advertising, diagnostic, or interaction information according to their respective policies and your device permissions.

The information processed by these services depends on which services are enabled, your region, your consent choices, and your device settings.

9. Third-Party Services

Certain Muslim AI features rely on services provided by third parties.

These may include:

• Groq for optional AI functionality (the AI coach)

• Google AdMob for advertising

• Google Firebase for supported infrastructure and remote configuration

• Apple MapKit and related Apple services for maps, mosque searches, location features, and directions

These providers may process limited information when you use features that depend on their services.

Their processing is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms.

10. Data Sharing

We do not sell your locally stored religious activity or habit data.

Information may be transmitted to third-party providers only when required to provide features that depend on those services, such as AI functionality, advertising, remote configuration, maps, or directions.

We aim to minimize the amount of information transmitted outside your device.

11. Data Retention

Information stored locally by Muslim AI generally remains on your device until you delete the relevant information, reset the app, or uninstall Muslim AI.

Device backups managed by Apple may retain copies according to your iCloud and device backup settings.

Information processed independently by third-party providers is subject to their respective retention policies and our configuration of those services.

12. Data Security

Muslim AI is designed to minimize unnecessary collection and transmission of personal information.

Keeping core religious and habit information locally on your device reduces the amount of personal information that needs to be transmitted to external services.

However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

13. Children's Privacy

Muslim AI does not require users to create an account and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through a user account system.

Some third-party services used by Muslim AI may have their own age requirements and privacy practices.

If we become aware that personal information from a child has been processed in a manner inconsistent with applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to address the situation.

14. Your Privacy Choices

You remain in control of many permissions and optional features used by Muslim AI.

Depending on your device and region, you may control:

• Location access

• Notification access

• Tracking permission where applicable

• Advertising consent where applicable

• AI coach usage

• Habit tracking

• Prayer tracking

• Manual location settings

Permissions granted to Muslim AI can be reviewed or changed through iOS Settings.

15. No Account Required

Muslim AI does not require an account for its core prayer, Quran, Adhkar, Tasbih, and habit-tracking features.

This allows these features to operate without requiring you to provide an email address, password, name, or other account information.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Muslim AI evolves, new features are introduced, third-party services change, or legal and platform requirements change.

When this policy is updated, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
